The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (2015) are designed to encourage the appreciation of construction safety at the design stage of a project when many decisions are made which have a bearing on the safety of those working on the construction of the building/s and on those who are to use the structure afterwards.

The regulations require designers to endeavour to minimize risks to those constructing, or using and maintaining buildings, to inform contractors of remaining risks, and also to provide a file of information (The Health & Safety File) to help those working on the building in the future.

G C Robertson & Associates Ltd. take account of these regulations in their work.
